Most of my sites are hosted by PowWeb (I know they were offering a special off their absurdly cheap prices, not sure if it's still on). Just checked...yup it is $5.77 per month for a year + free domain name registration. In years I have seldom had any problems with them, and they fix it within minutes. Both have email and email fowarding, both are well established and I'm sure you will be very happy with either. I will say that PowWeb has a very helpful forum and better tech support. That's why I kept my sites there (after a several hour call to GoDaddy over a simple problem). Both have easy FTP uploads (you will want this) and likely more resources than you will ever use.
