I want to set up a website for a small biz. I need to acquire a domain name and also a company that would host it for cheap. I also want to be able to have an email address on that domain name. Thanks

The 2 best (and I swear by them) are Go Daddy and PowWeb. Most of my sites are hosted by PowWeb (I know they were offering a special off their absurdly cheap prices, not sure if it’s still on). Just checked…yup it is $5.77 per month for a year + free domain name registration. In years I have seldom had any problems with them, and they fix it within minutes.
Both have email and email fowarding, both are well established and I’m sure you will be very happy with either. I will say that PowWeb has a very helpful forum and better tech support. That’s why I kept my sites there (after a several hour call to GoDaddy over a simple problem). Both have easy FTP uploads (you will want this) and likely more resources than you will ever use. Just be careful about ripoff sites that cost much more…and give nothing more.

Yahoo!. They also have an easy to use ’sitebuilder’ that can be downloaded for free. It costs $2 per month for the site.

GoDaddy.com is cheap and you can buy an email address for any site on Yahoo Mail I think.

For about $50 domain name and a year of hosting. Can’t be beat.
